Project Overview
We are supporting a robotics company in hiring a Senior UI/UX Engineer to help build the world’s first AI-powered humanoid receptionist for hotels. As an early team member, you will shape the future of user interaction in hospitality by designing intuitive, immersive interfaces that merge digital intelligence with real-world applications.
Our client is a Czech-founded deep-tech startup with global ambitions. This is a hybrid role based in Prague, offering a hands-on opportunity to build from the ground up in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced, visually polished UIs using React and TypeScript
- Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and robotics developers to ensure seamless functionality and experience
- Integrate Unreal Engine 4/5 for interactive 3D visualization and dynamic user interfaces
- Participate in version control (Git), code reviews, and modern CI/CD workflows
- Contribute to building scalable frontend architecture for a high-impact AI product
Skills Required
- Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Solid working experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
- Practical knowledge of Git and collaborative development practices
- Experience with larger-scale frontend applications and modular UI architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with backend technologies (Python or Node.js)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Interest or prior work in Generative AI (GenAI) or AI-powered user experiences
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Freelance (IČO)
Location: Prague / hybrid (at least 1 day per week onsite)
Duration: Long-term collaboration with opportunity to grow alongside the company

Compensation: Competitive freelance day rate, based on seniority
