As part of its broader technology modernization strategy, Hilti needed to migrate a local data warehouse environment hosted on servers in Russia to a modern cloud-based platform within the European Union. The initiative was driven by the need to improve scalability, simplify operations, strengthen governance, and align the organization's data landscape with evolving business and regulatory requirements. Our team was responsible for supporting the migration strategy, data platform transformation, data validation, and ensuring a smooth transition of reporting and analytical workloads to the new environment. Following the successful completion of the migration program, SnapStack continued supporting Hilti through the implementation of a new reporting and analytics layer built on Microsoft Power BI. The resulting solution enabled business users to access trusted data through modern dashboards and reports while leveraging the scalability and flexibility of a cloud-native architecture.
