Datascience Engineer

Project Overview
We are partnering with a data company to hire a Development Lead, who will act as a key technical partner to the founder. They are is building an agentic data analytics platform that redefines how business logic, machine learning, and data science interact—serving enterprise clients in logistics, retail, and hospitality.

This is a high-impact leadership role with a unique opportunity to shape both the product and the team from an early stage. You’ll help scale the team from 2 to 20 engineers within a year, define architecture, and steer the long-term product vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical right hand to the founder and steer all development activities
• Lead and grow the engineering team
• Define and refine technical architecture and design strategy
• Oversee quality and direction of product development
• Represent engineering in client meetings and solution discussions

Tech Focus

• Machine Learning, Data Science (AutoML is a plus)
• Data Engineering
• Strong advantage: experience with LLMs and AI agents
• Nice to have: frontend experience (e.g., React)

Start Date: Latest by end of August 2025
Contract Type: Full-time employment (HPP) or freelance (IČO)
Location: Prague, hybrid model, minimum 2 days/week onsite
Compensation:

• From CZK 120,000/month
