Head of Sales

Project Overview
We are supporting a fast-growing Czech technology company with the recruitment of a senior sales leader. The company, founded in 2016, focuses on cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, system integration, and eHealth solutions. Their clients include leading public institutions such as Plzeň University Hospital, and they work closely with partners like Aricoma.

The new Head of Sales will take a strategic role, directly shaping the company’s commercial growth, client relationships, and long-term vision. This is a highly autonomous, partner-level role with the opportunity to build a new sales structure, lead complex public sector and healthcare deals, and consult on critical digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the entire commercial strategy in close collaboration with company ownership
  • Build and lead a new sales team and structure, including process setup and strategic sales cycles (12–24 months)
  • Manage and grow key client accounts (approx. 60%), particularly in the healthcare and public sector
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level clients, IT directors, and public decision-makers
  • Guide clients through IT investment planning, funding opportunities, and complex system integration projects
  • Drive new business (approx. 40%) through active outreach and consultative selling to enterprise clients
  • Translate complex technical solutions into clear value propositions for non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to enterprise risk analysis, tailored cybersecurity consulting, and digital transformation roadmaps
  • Represent the company in strategic client meetings and negotiations

Skills Required

  • 5–10+ years in senior B2B sales roles, ideally in IT, cybersecurity, or systems integration
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and public sector procurement processes
  • Previous experience selling into healthcare or government clients is a significant advantage
  • Proven ability to manage long and complex sales cycles and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions
  • Entrepreneurial, structured, and self-driven personality with a strong sense of ownership
  • Native or fluent Czech speaker; advanced English skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Network in the Czech tech ecosystem (vendors, distributors, hospitals, municipalities)
  • Knowledge of eHealth solutions, cybersecurity frameworks, or IELS systems
  • Experience with funding programs or IT grant consultancy in the public sector

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Freelance (IČO preferred)
Location: Czech Republic – hybrid (remote + client travel 2–3 days per week as needed)
Duration: Long-term cooperation with strategic growth opportunities
Expected Compensation:

  • Fixed: CZK 80,000–90,000/month
  • Variable: Attractive commission model based on total sales results, key account acquisition, and client retention
  • Option for profit-sharing in long-term partnership
