Role Overview
We are seeking a Digital Development Lead to head a team of back-end and front-end developers. This role bridges technology and business, ensuring digital products support commercial outcomes. The primary focus is reducing technical debt, establishing efficient workflows, and driving digital innovation across multiple brands and markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of developers (back-end and front-end).
- Oversee the development and evolution of brand websites across several European markets.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Define and implement standards and processes to enable effective cross-department collaboration.
- Mentor and support team members in their professional development.
- Collaborate with external partners and agencies.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Proven experience in leading development teams (Tech Lead / Engineering Lead).
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Core, MVC.
- Proficiency in MS SQL.
- Solid understanding of OOP and system architecture design.
- Experience with API design and integration (REST).
- Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js preferred, or React/TypeScript).
- Ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Strategic mindset with strong prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with digital transformation in a large organization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
