We are looking for a Cloud Data Platform Architect to lead the design and architecture of modern enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with the ability to drive strategic discussions and guide engineering teams through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable enterprise data architectures, including warehousing, data lakes, and Lakehouse environments
- Define integration patterns, ingestion frameworks, and platform standards
- Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and solution design sessions
- Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and IaC/DevOps practices
- Collaborate with teams using tools such as MS Fabric, Snowflake, ADF, DBT, Kafka, Spark
- Ensure security, governance, and compliance across data systems
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable platform solutions
- Provide guidance to engineering teams throughout delivery
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in data-platform architecture and enterprise data systems
- Strong understanding of data integration, warehousing, and Lakehouse design
- Cloud expertise (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Knowledge of networking, security, DevOps, and IaC
- Familiarity with modern data tooling and frameworks
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions and drive architectural decisions
